I’m always looking for local businesses to support, especially when it comes to my favorite things like coffee lol. Stumbled upon this gem today and I loved it. I got a Farmers cup coffee and it was really easy to customize. It turned out really good. I also had the turkey Brie sandwich. Also really good! Definitely something that’ll easily become my favorite pairing. I’ll be returning for sure!

ABSOLUTEY incredible! A young lady barista greeted me so cheerfully as soon as I walked in, the music was Jesus, The vibe was great. But what stuck out to me was a young gentlemen from the kitchen his service was incredible and his smile was beautiful, He kept checking in on us making sure everything was good and really setting the standard for coffee shops! 10/10 Loved it!

I’ve been to this coffee shop in Surrey Center about four times now. I really love the decor and the coffee, the atmosphere is cute and inviting, and the pastries are really good. ☕️✨ The food, however, is very average. It honestly tastes like something you’d make at home when you’re hungry and don’t feel like putting much effort into it. 😂 The crepes are surprisingly small and almost look like enchiladas, and the breakfast burrito was very bland. The one thing I find uncomfortable about this place is the vibe from the girls working at the front, cashier, and coffee bar. They seem very disengaged and almost zombie-like. 😬 Maybe they’re just having an off day, but every time I’ve been there, I’ve noticed the same thing. Overall, I’d come back for the coffee, pastries, and decor, but probably not for the food or service.

We are visiting from Ohio. Our Airbnb was close to Rooted Coffeehouse. We stopped in grabbed some coffee & breakfast to go. The atmosphere was elegant. We loved all the decor. The staff were so sweet. The food & coffee were yummy. We love supporting local shops. We even stopped at another location before we headed home.

IMPORTANT heads-up about directions: the Google Maps pin is completely INCORRECT. It currently drops you near a Wings Express, an empty parking lot, and a side street where there is nothing there. The coffee shop is actually on the opposite side of the street. If you enter Calvert’s Restaurant or Cucumber & Mint at Surrey Center into GPS, it will take you straight to the correct spot with parking.
